Many of you will know that Synthopia had a good collection of voice overs from bands and artists, essentially saying who they were and that they were listening to Synthopia. I even had some of them at times introduce one their tracks. Now with my latest show I'm very light on with voice overs, so I would love you all to send some in. This is for everyone, so band, singers or listeners that I play or may potentially play. Send in a sound file saying who you are and where your from. Keep the sound file short, so no longer than 10 seconds. Remember to send them to my new email address firstname.lastname@example.org
Also give me some feed back on all my pages, be it Twitter, Facebook, or even here. I would love to hear what you like about the show, who are your favorite acts, how long you have been listening for, etc. Also to all the bands that I have played. Let me know when I first played you and\or one of your tracks, tell me when that was and why you choose one of my shows to do it.
Now for a follow on from last week, for those acts sending me tunes. Please if you send me tunes that are covers of tracks, let me know. The vast majority of the time I will know when a track is a cover. However sometimes I may have not heard the original track and I don't realize it's a cover. Plus it's possible that some of those tracks were not quite as popular or ever even got released in Australia, so that adds to the chance of me possibly not knowing a track.
Okay last week I started posting my list of Skerat's tracks of the day for the past week. Here is the list for this week, which covers the period of the 3rd of September to the 9th of September:-
3rd of September Rodney Cromwell - Barry Was An Arms Dealer
4th of September Simple Minds - Waterfront
8th of September OMD - Telegrath
9th of September Shiny Darkness - Mother
and remember this months show of Skerat's Eclectic Podcasts can be found here, with a great list of 44 brilliant tracks. Well that's it for this week, thank you all for your continued and excellent support and until next weekend this is Skerat over and out.
